1. Aeronautical
Officer –

Educational: Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or
Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University.

Experience: Two years experience in aircraft design and development including
aircraft electrical or electronics or mechanical systems or airworthiness
engineering.

Desirable: One year experience in aeronautical research and development or design
or laboratory investigation of failed aircraft parts or Flight Recorders
involved in accident or incident or Airworthiness Engineering

2. Principal
Civil Hydrographic Officer –

Educational: Degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information
Technology OR Masters Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or
Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Pass
in the final examination of the institution of surveyors in subdivision1(B)
Hydrographic surveying. (Only those students who were enrolled with
Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)

Experience: Three years experience in Nautical Chart Compilation and Digital
Cartography. [Experience should be from Government or autonomous organization
or statutory body or public sector undertaking or University or recognized
research institution]

Desirable: (i) Certificate or diploma in a foreign language, preferably French.
(ii) One year experience in application of geographical information system
technology.

3. Senior
Administrative Officer Grade-II –

Educational: (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution.

Experience: Three years’ experience of administration or establishment or accounts
work.

4. Scientist
‘B’ –

Educational: Master’s Degree in Science in the required Discipline (i.e.
Botany/Horticulture/Organic Chemistry) from a recognized University or
equivalent.

Desirable:

(i) Experience in research/teaching in the relevant field. (i.e.
Taxonomy of any of the following groups :-
Angiosperm/Bryophytes/Lichens/Fungi/Algae or Molecular taxonomy)

(ii) Knowledge of Latin/German/French/ Russian.

5. Assistant
Geophysicist –

Educational: Master’s Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics
from a recognized University or Institute; OR BE or AMIE in Electronics or
Communication from a recognized University or Institute.

(a) Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability
Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of
Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any
branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by
using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No
“fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and
they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and
summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be
entertained.

(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can
the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
