THSTI Field Worker Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Senior Resident (Pediatrics) – MD in Pediatrics OR MBBS with three years of postqualification clinical experience in Research and Development or clinical work in PediatricsDomain / Job description and skills required:– Conducting outpatient clinics in Paediatrics for an urban and semi-urban population of new born and children admitted to a district hospital inpaediatric wards.- Clinical care in department of pediatrics including care for patients admitted to a district hospital and those brought to the emergency services at the hospital.- Liaison with senior pediatrics staff at the hospital to take and follow decisions regarding care of patients.- Coordinate with the study research staff for smooth implementation of study.- Should be comfortable working in roster duties |

Senior Resident (Obstetrics and Gynecology) – MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology OR MBBS with three years of postqualification experience in Research and Development or clinical work in Obstetrics and GynecologyDomain / Job description and skills required:– Conducting outpatient clinics in obstetrics &gynecology for an urban and semi – urban population (includes outpatient preventive antenatal care as per national norms).- Conduct deliveries normal, Instrument assisted and caesarean section deliveries and postpartum care.- Care of women admitted to district hospital in Obstetrics &Gynecology wards.- Liaison with senior Obstetric staff at the hospital to take and follow decisions regarding care of patient- Coordinate with the study research staff for smooth implementation of study.- Take BIOPSY and perform PAP smear- Should be comfortable working in roster duties.- Should be able to perform D & C MTP- Able to mange high risk cases like PPH, eclampsia, APH , severeanaemia, placenta etc |
| 3. Field Worker – Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.Domain / Job description and skills required:– The field worker may be asked to perform shift duties to provide extended cover for participant tracking and other study related activity.- Transportation of laboratory samples to hospital site lab/ any laboratory- Daily calibration of equipment at site; maintaining equipment log, calibration logs, ensuring smooth functioning of equipment at site- Transportation of study file at site and central facility at THSTI, prepare logs and liaising with the Project Manager.- Inventory management (at site)- Assisting the project manager/ CRO/ research assistant/ DM team in all study related activities at the site- Assisting the project manager in maintaining all documentation at site photocopying or scanning of documents if required- Working with individuals, or with team, maintaining records.- Field workers may have to visit participant home for their scheduled / unscheduled follow ups.- Field workers may have to collect samples from tertiary hospital, district hospital as per the SOP and study requirement.- Field workers may have to assist Doctors, nurses on duty for routine patient care and study related activities.- The Field worker should have a valid two wheeler license.- Should be comfortable in visiting study participants home for data collection.- Any other as assigned by PI/ co PI- Knowledge of Hindi, English and local language |

Interested and eligible candidates possessing the aforementioned Essential Qualification only may appear for Walk-in-Interview in the Institute with all Original and self-attested copies of all certificate/testimonials and valid identity proof (Voter ID card/ PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card) and one passport size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Interview without the Original Certificates.
