NRCB Trichy Junior Research Fellow Eligibility Criteria:

Educational
Qualification:  

Essential
Qualification: First class in M.Sc.
(Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Plant Breeding & Genetics) Scholars
selected through National Eligibility Test – CSI-UGS NET including
lectureship and GATE selection process through National level examinations
conducted by central government departments and their agencies and
institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC,
IISER, NISER, etc.

Or

Ph.D. (Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Plant Breeding & Genetics)
Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test – CSI-UGS NET including
lectureship and GATE selection process through National level examinations
conducted by central government departments and their agencies and
institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC,
IISER, NISER, etc.

Desirable : Hands on experience in molecular techniques, NGS, gene editing, ECS
banana and tissue culture

Age Limit:

Minimum age 21 years and Maximum age 45 years for Junior Research
Fellow. Age relaxation shall be applicable for the post as per rules.

 

Salary Details:

Rs.37,000/- + 18% HRA per month for the first two years

Rs.42,000/- + 18% HRA per month from third year onwards

Candidates
who have passed the required qualifications only be allowed for the interview
