1. SRF for
NICRA project –

Essential: i. Master’s Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Remote Sensing & GIS /
Geomatics / Geoinformatics /Agricultural Physics/ Data Science/ or equivalent
with first class or OGPA >7.5 from a recognized university / institution.
ii. Master’s Degree in the above subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s
degree. iii. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR
NET/MHRD-GATE qualification or Ph.D in any of above disciplines. (As per ICAR
memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri.
Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015).

Desirable: Experience / Knowledge of both GIS & Remote Sensing tools, GEE,
Full stack Development (Frontend: HTML/CSS/JS, Backend: Python/R), Open
source development exposure using APIs

2. YPII for
NICRA project –

Essential: i) Master’s Degree Genetics / Plant Breeding/Plant Physiology/ or
equivalent with first class or OGPA >7.5. from a recognized university/
institution

Desirable: Experience / Knowledge in rice crop management/ breeding and molecular
breeding

3. YP II for
NICRA project –

Essential: Master’s Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Plant
Breeding/ Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or equivalent with first class or OGPA
>7.5 from a recognized university / institution from a recognized
university / institution.

Desirable: Expertise in molecular biology/ Bioinformatics. Working experiences in
field/ agriculture crops

4. YP II for
NICRA project –

Essential: Master’s Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Remote Sensing & GIS /
Geomatics / Geoinformatics / Data Science/ AI/ML/ Data Analytics or
equivalent with first class or OGPA >7.5 from a recognized university /
institution from a recognized university / institution.

Desirable: Experience / Knowledge of Satellite image processing, ArcGIS, Web GIS,
GEE, and programming in Python/R/IDL/ database management, pest modeling

5. YP II for
NICRA project –

Essential: Master’s Degree M.Sc. (Agronomy/ Soil Science / Ag Statistics) with
first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university/institution

Desirable: Proficiency in computer use and data analysis

6. YP II For
NICRA Project –

Essential: Master’s Degree in Microbiology/Agricultural Microbiology/
Biochemistry with first class or >7.5 OGPA from a recognized university/
institution. Desirable: Experience in lab and field work, data analysis and writing skills.

7. YP II For
NICRA Project –

Essential: i) Master’s degree with specialization in Soil Science &
Agricultural chemistry (SSAC)/ Environmental Science (with thesis work) with
first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university/ institution.

Desirable: Experience in soil/gas sampling from agricultural fields and their
analysis

8. Project
Associate II under NMSHE project –

Essential: i) MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/Information
Technology/Geomatics / Geoinformatics / Data Science/Data Analytics/ ML/AI/
System analysis/ or equivalent with first class or OGPA >7.5 from a
recognized university / institution ii) as in S.No. 1 iii) as in S.No. 1

Desirable: Experience / Knowledge in 3D graphics/animation/ image processing,
Configuring Web Map server, programming in R / IDL/ C#/ Python / Java
script/Andriod and cloud computing/ web sources / GIS tools, 3D graphics/
animation/ 3-D modeling, and knowledge in crop/hydrological/climate
simulation models, and analysis of climate model data.

9. Project
Assistant under NMSHE project –

Essential: i) BE/BTech/ BSc IT/ BCA in computer science/ Information
Technology/Data Science/AI/ML/System or Data analysis/with or equivalent with
first class or OGPA >7.5 from a recognized university / institution ii)
Excellent written communication skills in English language

Desirable: Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, R, Mat Lab
and experience in working in report preparation job, publication job/or
relevant experience

10. SRF
under NASF Project (project at Div Agronomy) –

Essential: i) MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information Technology/ Data
Science/ AI/ML/System or Data analysis/ or equivalent with first class or
OGPA >7.5 from a recognized university / institution ii) as in SNo. 1 iii)
as in SNo. 1 Desirable: Experience Configuring Web Map server, programming in R / IDL/ C#/
Python / Java script/Andriod and cloud computing/ web sources / GIS tools,
data mining, experience in AI, ML and algorithm development; GEE, HTML, use
of APIs

1. Maximum age
40 years for PPA, 35 years for SRF/PA, 45 years for YP-II & 30 Years for
YP-I and P Asst. (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and
three years for OBC).
