ECIL Junior Translator Eligibility Criteria:

Educational
Qualification:

A First class Master Degree in Hindi / English / Translation Studies
with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution /
University. The candidate should possess English or Hindi as main subject at
Degree Level plus Recognized PG Diploma or Certificate course in translation
from English to Hindi and vice-versa with knowledge of Bi-lingual (Hindi and
English) word processing on computer. Candidate should have one-year post
qualification experience in Translation of Technical and Administrative
documents into Hindi and English & vice-versa. Persons having experience
in Maintenance of office will be preferred.

Age Limit:

– Upper age limit is 35 yrs. & all the eligibility criteria is as
on date of selection.

– Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for PwD category. The upper age
limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled
in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.

Salary Details:

1. Jr.
Translator on Contract – Rs. 23,000 / month.

ECIL Junior Translator Selection Process 2023:

Candidates
will be allowed only after registration and followed by successful document
verification. Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated based on Personal
Interview and final recommendations shall be made as per the following
criteria.

report at 09.00 hrs. with duly filled in application form & resume along
with the following original certificates & a set of self-attested
photocopies:

a. SSC certificate or School
leaving certificate as Date of birth proof;

b. Identity proof (Govt. issued
only; Aadhar, Passport etc.) & recent p/p size color photograph; c.
Documents in support of Qualification (Certificate & Marks sheet);

d. CGPA conversion certificate
from institution/university, if any;

e. Experience certificatesfrom
previous employment (Appointment Order & recent 3 months’ pay slips are
mandatory, if working) clearly mentioning the duration (from & to dates);

f. A valid certificate with
respect to Persons with Disabilities (PwD); Discharge certificate in case of
Exservicemen; Relevant certificate, if claiming age relaxation as candidate
from J&K; if any.

g. Registration closure time at
the venue is 11.30 hrs. on respective dates.
