Qualifying
Degree: B.Tech./BE /Equivalent obtained as
Full-time Regular course from Institutions/ Colleges/ Universities/ Deemed
Universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC in anyone of the following
disciplines

1. Engineer
(Chemical) – First Class Graduate Degree in
Engineering / Technology in Chemical / Petroleum / Petrochemicals with not
less than 60% mark in aggregate of all semesters / years. SC/ST/PwBD
candidates need to score a minimum 55% against reserved positions

GATE 2023 Discipline: GATE 2023 Code ‘CH’

2. Engineer
(Mechanical) – First Class Graduate Degree in
Engineering / Technology in Mechanical with not less than 60% mark in
aggregate of all semesters / years. SC/ST/PwBD candidates need to score a
minimum 55% against reserved positions.

GATE 2023 Discipline: GATE 2023 Code ‘ME’

Eligible
Discipline (GATE 2023):

a) Candidates must have qualified in the GATE 2023 examination from one
of the following disciplines in order to be eligible to apply for the
advertised posts:

i. Chemical Engineering : (GATE 2023 code: CH)

ii. Mechanical Engineering : (GATE 2023 code: ME)

b) A candidate can apply in CPCL only from one of the aforesaid
disciplines. In order to apply, the candidate must have qualified GATE 2023
examination from any one of the above disciplines and also done BE/B.Tech
from the same discipline.

c) Qualifying in GATE 2023 from disciplines other than 02 (Two)
disciplines mentioned above will not be accepted towards eligibility for the
advertised post.

d) GATE marks of previous years (GATE 2022 or before) will not be
accepted

1. Engineer
(Chemical) – not be more than 26 years.

2. Engineer
(Mechanical) – not be more than 26 years.

i. General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable
registration fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) as application fee
(non-refundable) though Online mode using either Debit/Credit Card or through
Net-Banking only. The Bank Charges as applicable have to be borne by the
candidates. No other means / mode of application shall be accepted. CPCL will
not be responsible for non-receipt / bouncing back of any email sent to the
candidate.

ii. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates
are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the
application fee.

iii. SC / ST / PwBD / ExSM / Women candidates are exempted from payment
of application fee.
