Minimum
Educational Qualifications:

A. Trade
(ITI) Apprentices: Passed out trainees in the particular trade
of NCVT pattern designated by Director General of Employment & Training
(D.G.E.&T) and who have registered with Regional Directorate of
Apprenticeship Training (RDAT), Chennai will only be considered for
selection.

B.
Technician (Diploma)/ Graduate (Degree) Apprentices:

– Graduate/ degree in Engineering/Technology/Non – Engineering full
time granted by a recognized University/ Institutions in relevant discipline.

– Diploma in Engineering / Technology in full time granted by a State
Council or Board of Technical education Established by a State Government/University/Institutions
in relevant discipline.

Other
Eligibility Requirements:

1. Graduate/ Technician candidates should have passed the qualifying
exam in 2020/2021/2022/2023 are only eligible.

2. Candidates who have registered themselves in the Apprenticeship
Portal for Apprenticeship and who fulfil the eligibility criteria as
indicated above will be considered for appearing walk-in- interview.

3. Candidates should not have
undergone or presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training in CSIR or
elsewhere.

4. Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any
job.

5. Sandwich diplomas, private diploma, part time/ Distance/ short term/
certificate courses etc., are not acceptable.

Age Limit:

ITI: Minimum 14 years for ITI Apprentices as on date of interview.

Technician/
Diploma: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years
for Technician/Diploma Apprentices as on date of interview.

Graduate/Degree: Minimum 21 years and maximum 26 years for Graduate/Degree Apprentices
as on date of interview.

Relaxation: (Relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, for the posts
reserved for them). Candidates belonging to PWD Categories shall be given age
relaxation upto 10 years (upto 15 years for SC/ST and upto13 years for OBC
(Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates.

Candidates are advised to
register as ITI/ Graduate (Degree)/ Technician (Diploma) Apprentices online in
the following portal under the respective state as per their trades in

– ITI (Trade) Apprentices:

– Graduate (Degree)/ Technician
(Diploma) Apprentices: http://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/

Candidates appearing for
Walk-in-interview should have been registered in the above mentioned portals
and their enrollment number should have been quoted in the application. (For
registration, please see the instructions given in table below)

Interested and eligible
candidates may appear the walk-in-interview with all original & with one
set of photocopy of all relevant testimonials with self-attestation as indicated
below along with the application

– All Certificates/Testimonials
in respect of Qualifications, DOB, etc.

– Caste Certificate [for
SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS candidates as applicable] in the prescribed
format issued by the Competent Authority as prescribed by Government of India.

– Candidates should ensure that
they submit all the documents mentioned above. In the event of failure to
submit any of the required documents as mentioned above at the time of
walk-in-interview, their candidature will not be considered.
